How to Set Up Rush Permalink

Overview

Rush's Permalink feature provides a unique, trackable link to your store's tracking page, ensuring a consistent and smooth customer experience. You can create a permanent link to your default tracking page, which can be hardcoded and placed anywhere you choose. This feature is available for customization in our Growth plans but is also included in the free plan.

Why Use Permalink?

Here are some key benefits of using the Permalink feature instead of a direct page link:

Short Link: Based on the domain tr.ac, it reduces the text in your SMS communications, making it more cost-effective.
Customizable and Branded: Tailor the link to suit your store’s needs, making its purpose immediately clear.
Supports GET Variables: For example, search=ORDER will initiate a search for the order on the tracking page, enhancing the user experience.
Simplifies Migration: Easily migrate from other platforms like Trackror or Aftership by redirecting all your links to tr.ac/k/your-link. This ensures a seamless transition and superior customer experience from the start.

Step-by-Step Guide

Locate Apps: On the left navigation sidebar of your store's dashboard, find and click on Rush – Ship, Track, Notify.
Select Tracking Page: From the left sidebar, choose Tracking Page and scroll down to the Permalink section.
Change Default Link: Here, you can update the default link as per your preference. For example, change it to https://tr.ac/k/trackorder and click the Update button.
Confirmation Message: A confirmation message will pop up, confirming the successful update of your link.
