Order & Tracking Number Synchronization โ€‹

Overview โ€‹

This article provides information on order and tracking number synchronization once a store owner installs the Rush app. It explains the synchronization process and data sharing with the Rush app and how this helps e-commerce business owners.

Interaction of Rush with Shopify Admin โ€‹

Rush interacts with Shopify store admin in multiple ways:

  1. Initial Synchronization: During installation, Rush imports tracking numbers for all orders from the last 7 days and processes them into the Rush system. This service is provided free of charge as a welcome gift from Rush. It helps jumpstart the synchronization of your storeโ€™s data into the Rush system. For these shipments, no notifications are sent from Rushโ€™s side.

  2. Order Fulfillment: If a merchant marks an order as Fulfilled, either manually or automatically using a third-party app/software, Rush processes the tracking number within a couple of minutes in the appโ€™s Shipments section.

  3. Synchronization Process: The tracking number synchronization process involves Rush taking the carrier's tracking number from the Shopify order details and creating a Shipment entity in the Rush system.

Charge per Shipment โ€‹

Rush charges per shipment based on your planโ€™s quota or as part of an additional charge depending on your Cap Limit.

Note

If an incorrect but valid tracking number is imported and later updated for a specific order, Rush will charge for it. Learn more.
