About Blacklisting

Overview

This article provides insights into the Blacklisting feature of the Rush app, designed to empower store owners with options to manage their shipment settings effectively.

These features play a crucial role in managing your store operations by:

  • Allowing you to hide and replace source locations such as the country of origin for a package.
  • Allowing you to hide and replace carrier names in the Shipments messages.
  • Allowing you to skip messages about certain actions or situations.
  • Allowing you to swap out any words you don't want to see in the Shipments messages.

Blacklisting Settings and Subsections

After logging into the Rush app, the Shipments option is available in the navigation sidebar. Clicking on it will lead you to the Blacklisting Settings, which is divided into four subsections:

  • Replace Locations
  • Carriers
  • Skip Messages
  • Search and Replace Words

Let's dive deeper into each subsection.

Replace Locations

This subsection provides the ability to hide and replace source locations such as the country of origin for a package. Some customers may initiate a chargeback as soon as they see the order is traveling from certain countries or unrecognized destinations. With this feature, you can hide the origin address completely. For more information, refer to the article on Hide and Replace Country of Origin from Shipments.

Carriers

This subsection allows you to replace carrier names in the shipment messages. For a more detailed understanding, visit our article on Find and Replace Carrier Names in Shipments Messages.

Skip Messages

This subsection allows you to skip messages about certain actions or situations, such as airports, customs, imports, and other international shipping topics in the shipment messages. For more details, refer to our article on Skip Messages in Shipments Messages.

Search and Replace Words

This subsection allows store owners to find and replace text related to the shipment information. You can alter any part of the carrier messages to fit your needs. For a comprehensive guide, read our article on Find and Replace Text in Shipments Messages.
