Set Languages on Tracking Page ​

Overview ​

This article explains how to configure language options for your store’s tracking page, allowing you to provide a better experience for customers by displaying the page in their preferred language.

Step-by-Step Guide ​

Customize Language Options ​

  1. Open the Rush App

    • Locate Apps on the left navigation sidebar.
    • Click on Rush – Ship, Track, Notify.
  2. Access Tracking Page Settings

    • Select Tracking Page from the navigation sidebar on the left.
    • Click on Customize.
  3. Locate Localization Section

    • Scroll down to the Localization section.

Choose a Primary Language ​

  1. Set Default Language

    • If you want a single language for your tracking page:
      • Click on the PRIMARY LANGUAGE dropdown.
      • Select the desired language from the list. By default, it is set to English.

Enable Multilanguage Support ​

  1. Select Multilanguage Option

    • Choose the A language picker on the tracking page option for multilingual support.
  2. Configure Language Display

    • All Supported Languages: Allow users to choose from all languages supported by Rush.
    • Shortlist Languages: Create a custom list of languages to display. Click on the dropdown and select your preferred languages.

Confirmation ​

You have now set up the language options for your tracking page!

Things to Keep in Mind ​

  • New Languages: Languages not in Rush’s predefined list will not appear unless set as the primary language or shortlisted. This prevents incomplete or incorrect translations.
  • Shortlist Default: If no languages are selected in the shortlist option, the system defaults to the first three supported languages.
  • Language Persistence: Once a customer selects a language, it will be saved in cookies, ensuring the tracking page displays in their chosen language on future visits.
