Creating a Flow in Yotpo SMS & Email - In Transit โ
Overview โ
This article will show you how to build an automation flow in Yotpo SMS & Email. Rush allows you to create flows based on different shipment statuses. These flows are then set up with trigger filters so that whenever a shipment reaches a Rush event, a corresponding notification can be sent out.
Precondition โ
Before creating the flow, you should connect Rush to your Yotpo SMS & Email account. For instructions, see Integrating Yotpo SMS & Emails with Rush.
Step-by-Step Instructions โ
Letโs make a flow for the In Transit shipment status:
- Go to your Yotpo SMS & Email account.
- Click on Flows & Automation from the navigation sidebar on the left.
- Click on Create flow from scratch.
- From the Rush triggers, choose In-Transit Shipment.
- Click on Add action.
Choose to Add an Email Message โ
- Select the sender's email.
- Enter the email subject. - For example, you can use: Your order has shipped.
 
- For example, you can use: 
- Next, click on the Edit design button.
- Now, use the Block builder to edit the design of your email. - Yotpo SMS & Emails also offers a Brand Kit customization feature to brand the design for you. Click on the customization icon on the bottom right side.
- Click on Apply brand kit.
 
- After customizing the email design, add one more step: - Click on Add delay.
- Click on the Select Interval menu.
- Choose Minute/s.
- In the Delay field, add 5 minutes.
- Click on Add step.
 
Add an SMS/MMS Message โ
- Click on Add action.
- Choose SMS/MMS message.
- In the text message field, add the text that you want to be sent to your customer. - For example, let's add: Your order has shipped!.
 
- For example, let's add: 
- Click on the Save button.
- Add a name for the flow.
- Click on the Save button.
Confirmation โ
Thatโs all! Youโve built a flow for the In Transit shipment status. Now, Yotpo SMS & Emails will send a notification when an order starts moving.
