This article provides information on order and tracking number synchronization once a store owner installs the Rush app. It explains the process of synchronization and data sharing with the Rush app and how this synchronization helps e-commerce business owners.
Interaction of Rush with Shopify admin
Rush interacts with Shopify store admin in multiple ways:
- During installation, Rush takes all your orders’ tracking numbers for the last 7 days and processes them into the Rush system. This is FREE of charge as a welcome gift from Rush. It helps you with getting started by jumpstarting synchronization of your store(s) data into the Rush system. For these shipments, no notifications are sent from Rush's side. To learn more, refer to import orders over 7-days article.
- If the merchant marks an order as Fulfilled, manually or automatically using a 3rd party app/software, Rush takes the tracking number and processes it within a couple of minutes in the app’s Shipments section.
- The tracking number sync process of Rush takes the carrier's tracking number from the order details provided by Shopify order and creates a Shipment entity.
Charge per shipment
Rush charges per shipment as per your plan’s quota or as part of an additional charge based on your Cap Limit.
If a wrong but valid tracking number is imported and is then updated for a specific order, Rush will charge for it. To learn more about it, refer to the how shipments are counted article.
