How to Set up Rush Permalink


Rush's Permalink feature provides a unique, trackable link to your store tracking page, ensuring a consistent and smooth customer experience. You can create a permanent link to your default tracking page, which can be hardcoded and placed anywhere you choose. This feature is now available for customization in our Growth plans but is also included in the free plan.

Why Use Permalink?

Here are some of the key benefits of using the Permalink feature, instead of a direct page link:

  1. It's a short link, based on the domain This means less text in your SMS communications, making it more cost-effective.
  2. It can be customized and branded to suit your store's needs, and its purpose is immediately clear.
  3. It supports GET variables, like search=ORDER. This will initiate a search for the order on the tracking page, enhancing user experience.
  4. It will simplify migration from other platforms like Trackror, and Aftership. You can simply redirect all your links to, and we'll redirect users to the tracking page with the search result. This makes the migration process easier for store owners and ensures a superior customer experience from the start.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Locate Apps on the left navigation sidebar of your store's dashboard.
  2. Click on Rush – Ship, Track, Notify.
  3. From the left sidebar, select Tracking Page and scroll down to the Permalink section.
  4. Here, you can change the default link as per your preference. For instance, let's change it to and click on the Update button.
  5. A confirmation message will pop up, confirming the successful update of your link.

Please note, if the code you've chosen is already in use by another store, an error message will be displayed. In this case, you'll need to choose a different code.
